- “In 2021, Dr. Howell did three lumbar epidurals for me. The first two were an immediate success, and the third was about 50% effective. I have since had my fourth lumbar operation. As I was seeing a pain management MD in New Jersey and came to Vero Orthopaedics for the next seven months, I needed pain management here. Dr. Howell saw me for a consultation and has made my pain management transition from NJ to Vero Orthopaedics very smooth, which is a great relief. He told me that if I needed further epidurals to contact him. I have peace of mind knowing I have a place to turn to for my chronic problem. The staff was terrific too. I was given several options for treating my injury and the pros and cons of each. I was expecting a hard sell for surgery, given that I was speaking to a surgeon, but that was not the case.
