“I heard and read on the internet stories about how painful physical therapy could be after shoulder surgery. I was very apprehensive about my first visit to D1 Sports Therapy. I was sure I would, as I read "walk in and limp out." Not the case at all. The staff was very understanding of my situation. I was always asked about my pain level and how I was feeling at each visit. Danielle was the therapist I had the most sessions with. Danielle kept track of my progress and also made sure I was doing my rehab properly. Danielle never pushed me to the point where I was in pain, but always made sure I was progressing. As did all the therapists. What a delightful young lady and very professional. Andy was also one of my therapists and he always made sure my concerns were addressed as well. Andy was very professional as well. I also had sessions with Lauren and Jacob. Lauren used a massager on my shoulder and neck. Wow! Did that ever feel good. As stated earlier, these therapists are all very capable professionals and a credit to their chosen field. Anna, who always had a smile on her face, was a delight to see. We would talk when she set the timers for me at various stations. She even called me "friend" at one of my visits, which made me smile. I was truly blessed to have had such a genuine, caring, and professional group of people to take me through this rehab process. D1 and Vero Orthopaedics & Neurology are very lucky to have this group of young professionals working for them. I enjoyed the talks and even looked forward to my rehab sessions.”

"There is not a day that goes by that I don't thank my surgeon Dr. Atwater for fixing my neck with disc replacement. He is one of the top surgeons in his field. He has the best bedside manner and is extremely confident at what he does. I was literally bed ridden before I had this surgery done and in excruciating pain. Today which marks 21 months after my surgery I feel amazing. He has given me my life back. I would highly recommend him. Thanks again Dr. Atwater!! You are amazing!!" – Holly J.
